What does being part of this organization or program mean to you?
Being part of Quantum Leaps means having the chance to explore my ideas with support and guidance, instead of having to figure everything out on my own. It’s given me a community of people I can reach out to, learn from, and rely on, which makes it easier to stay motivated and open to changing my plans as I learn more about what I really want to do.
What was a highlight of attending the 2026 Youth Summit and Expo?
I’m especially excited to go to Toronto, since I’ve only ever been to the airport there. I’m also really looking forward to meeting the other Quantum Leaps students in person, including people I’ve only met briefly or not at all yet. It will be nice to be in a supportive environment where everyone is experiencing the Summit for the first time together.
What excites you about STEM?
What excites me about STEM is the chance to take an idea and turn it into something real by learning more about it. The more you understand a topic or a project, the more you can decide whether you want to keep going, change direction, or imagine something new. I like that STEM gives you room to experiment, learn from what doesn’t go perfectly, and keep improving your ideas over time.
Fun fact about me:
I’m a character artist. I love focusing on original characters and developing them over time! I developed my first batch of characters over four years, from the ages of 10 to 14. At 16, I started working on a new batch of characters and I’m still working on them today.
