Quantum Leaps (SCWIST)
What does being part of this organization or program mean to you?
Being part of Quantum Leaps has been transformative for my growth as a youth advocate for Alzheimer's disease. The mentorship, networking events, and genuine connections with SCWIST staff have helped me shape my project, MindwithGrace, and find my voice in spaces where youth perspectives are often absent. This program gave me the confidence and support to turn an idea into meaningful action, and I'm deeply grateful for that foundation
What part of attending the 2026 Youth Summit and Expo are you most excited about?
I'm most excited about meeting other young people across Canada who share a passion for STEM. The opportunity to connect and exchange ideas to learn from each other's projects feels invaluable. I'm also looking forward to leading a roundtable discussion on aging and Alzheimer's advocacy, exploring how our generation can meaningfully contribute to these conversations
What excites you about STEM?
What excites me most about STEM is its potential to create an impact in people's lives. I'm particularly drawn to neuroscience, specifically neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. Understanding how the brain functions, what happens when it changes, and how research translates into better treatments and care fascinates me. I want to continue exploring the intersection of neuroscience and public health, and how we can make complex research accessible and meaningful to the communities who need it most.
Fun fact about me:
