What does being part of this organization or program mean to you?
Being part of SCWIST has shown me how a large number of youth in Canada are committed to working towards change in many various forms. It has exposed me to a rigorous work ethic, and working with adults in various professional fields to find solutions to different questions. It has helped me think critically and apply different solutions to real-world problems, which I've tried to now implement into my everyday life.
What part of attending the 2026 Youth Summit and Expo are you most excited about?
I'm very excited to attend panels, roundtables, and talks on topics I'm both passionate and eager to learn more about from professionals in topics I’m not as knowledgeable in!
What excites you about STEM?
I love biology, and love learning new discoveries we are still finding! Following the research of the current effects of climate change we are seeing across the globe is also something I'm always driven to learn about.
Fun fact about me:
Outside of school, I work as a swim instructor and lifeguard!
