Tech Girls Canada
What does being part of this organization or program mean to you?
Confidence. Before joining this group, I often felt uneasy about my diverse experiences and worried they might be perceived as instability. Being part of Tech Girls Canada has reassured me that every experience, no matter how varied, is valuable and, in many cases, even more important. It has helped me see my journey not as scattered, but as intentional, layered, and strong.
What part of attending the 2026 Youth Summit and Expo are you most excited about?
The demos. I can only imagine the depth of thought, creativity, and effort that has gone into the displays that will be exhibited at the Expo. I am genuinely excited to show up curious, engaged, and ready with my "oohs" and "ahhs."
What excites you about STEM?
What excites me about STEM is technology's ability to translate ideas into systems that can scale, endure, and reach people across time and geography. As a founder and creative, I am especially drawn to how technology can be used not just to innovate, but to preserve, organize, and distribute knowledge, which is central to my work with Nké. I am particularly curious about mathematics as a decision-making tool, especially in the context of startups. I want to understand how mathematical thinking underpins financial projections, risk modelling, sustainability planning, and long-term growth strategies. Beyond intuition and creativity, I am fascinated by how numbers tell stories about viability, trade-offs, and future possibilities, and how measuring this can help founders build ventures that are both visionary and financially sound. At the intersection of technology and mathematics, I see STEM as a way to discipline imagination, giving structure to big ideas so they can survive, scale, and create real-world impact.
Fun fact about me:
My unique talent is my ability to translate complexity into meaning. I naturally connect ideas across history, technology, business, culture, and transform them into clear narratives and systems that others can understand and engage with. This allows me to work comfortably with long timelines, layered experiences, and big ideas, while keeping them grounded, human, and actionable.
