What does being part of this organization or program mean to you?
Being part of CBSN means contributing to initiatives that uplift underrepresented communities in STEM and helping create spaces where Black scientists feel supported and empowered. I'm grateful to have the chance to be in rooms with others who share similar experiences and are committed to making an impact in their fields and communities.
What was a highlight of attending the 2026 Youth Summit and Expo?
A highlight was meeting youth from across the country who are actively creating positive change in their communities. It was inspiring to see that level of passion and leadership, and it was also meaningful to connect with people I wouldn't have met otherwise.
