What does being part of this organization or program mean to you?
As someone new to CBSN, it represents an opportunity to connect with Black peers and professionals in STEM, to grow professionally through future programming, and more exposure to different opportunities and events.
What was a highlight of attending the 2026 Youth Summit and Expo?
It was interesting to hear about policy and its importance and impact on industries and Canadian lives. I appreciated hearing from leaders and panelists from different industries, including Advanced Manufacturing and the trades. I was also excited to hear the life lessons and personal experiences shared by the leaders.
What excites you about STEM?
STEM is exciting because understanding it is really empowering. I appreciate that through learning STEM topics, we can use them as a tool to help different causes in the world today.
