Chris Cole
Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator
Skills Ontario
Chris Cole (he/him) is a stakeholder engagement professional and passionate advocate for the skilled trades, currently serving as Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator at Skills Ontario. He brings a people-first approach to partnership building, sponsorship development, and community engagement—connecting educators, industry leaders, and trades professionals to expand pathways into skilled trades and technologies for youth across Ontario. Before returning to Canada in 2023, Chris spent eight years in Namibia, where he taught, volunteered, and built a strong foundation in public speaking and community leadership. That global experience continues to shape how he shows up today: grounded, collaborative, and focused on creating opportunities that feel real and accessible. Chris regularly represents Skills Ontario at events and conferences, where his authentic relationship-building style supports strategic partnerships and sponsorship growth. With hands-on experience in landscaping and property maintenance, he also brings practical insight and deep respect for the trades and the people who power them. In addition to his work in workforce development, Chris is a committed mental health advocate. He speaks openly about reducing stigma and encouraging meaningful conversations, making him a trusted presence in both professional and community spaces.
