I am River

Naomi Flis is a Canadian environmental science student and youth educator based in Montreal. She has co‑authored the children’s book I Am River, which uses the voice of the Saint Lawrence River to teach young learners about ecology, conservation, and environmental stewardship, and collaborates on related educational programs for children. She is active in environmental outreach and eco-leadership initiatives connecting science and community learning.
