Elisa Arnold is a strategic foresight and innovation professional specializing in futures thinking, systemic change, and the impact of artificial intelligence on higher education. She helps organizations anticipate disruption, navigate uncertainty, and design future-ready strategies that support long-term resilience and adaptability. As an Associate on the Research and Foresight team at eCampusOntario, Elisa leads projects that explore emerging trends shaping postsecondary education and inform strategic planning and policy discussions across Ontario. Her work includes designing foresight tools and processes, facilitating foresight and strategy workshops, and building internal foresight capacity within organizations. Elisa currently chairs eCampusOntario’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group, supporting the higher education sector as it responds to rapid advances in AI. She also co-created and teaches a micro-credential on foresight signal scanning, equipping leaders and practitioners with practical methods to identify early signals of change and respond proactively. Her approach blends strategic foresight, innovation strategy, and evaluation design, enabling organizations to both envision preferred futures and measure progress toward them. Elisa holds a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight & Innovation and regularly presents at conferences on the future of education, AI, and organizational resilience.
