Dr. Effah Antwi is a Research Scientist at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and an External Adjunct Professor at Lakehead University. Effah’s multidisciplinary research spans Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America, focusing on inclusive science (IS), climate change adaptation, and cumulative effects assessment (CEA) in Canadian forests and Indigenous communities. As Lead Scientist on NRCan’s IS Research Study, Effah integrates Indigenous knowledge and IDEA principles in science. Effah has developed software for CEA and tools to guide the advancement of IS. Prior to joining NRCan, Effah was an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo and the United Nations University. Effah holds a PhD in Environmental Science from Germany's Brandenburg University of Technology.
