Marlina Ramchandran
Marlina Ramchandran (she/her) is a strategic innovation and ecosystem leader specializing in scaling national entrepreneurship and women’s economic empowerment programs at the intersection of government, academia, and startup ecosystems. She currently leads national initiatives at YSpace, York University, where she serves as ELLA Program Lead and Special Projects Manager. In this role, Marlina co-secured $2.7 million in federal funding under Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship Strategy and has supported over 1,200 women founders through accelerators, grants, and growth programs across the country. Marlina is also a Board Member at SCWIST, contributing to national efforts that advance women in STEM and entrepreneurship. Previously, she advised a federal entrepreneurship initiative under the Government of India and held senior leadership roles at the Wadhwani Foundation, managing large-scale startup support programs. Her work focuses on enabling women founders, strengthening innovation pipelines, and designing programs that move beyond inspiration to measurable economic outcomes.
