Tijs Creutzberg
Tijs Creutzberg is President and CEO of the Council of Canadian Academies. He has worked at the interface of policy, science, and technology for over 25 years. Prior to joining CCA, he was a partner at Hickling Arthurs Low Corporation, specializing in public policy, innovation, and economic development. Trained as an engineer and political economist, Tijs brings an empirical and applied focus to his work and a commitment to evidence-based research for policy. He holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, an MSc from the University of Manchester, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
